The State Council announced personnel changes on the State Council Three Gorges Project Construction Committee, according to a recent circular.

He Lifeng, director of the National Development and Reform Commission, Wang Xiaodong, governor of Hubei province, and Zhang Guoqing, mayor of Chongqing municipality, were named deputy directors of the committee.

In addition, seven new committee members were appointed.

Xu Shaoshi and Huang Qifan were removed from their posts as deputy directors.
