The State Council decided to amend some of the items in 15 administrative laws as an effort to streamline administration, according to a circular released on Oct 23.
The administrative laws, including transportation, flora and fauna protection, tour guide and construction project regulation, are all involved in the move to simplify administrative approvals.
For example, in the Regulation of the People’s Republic of China on the Administration of Traffic Safety on Fishing Port Waters, Article 10, which requires practitioners to get a permit from the fishing administration before starting aquafarming, was removed.
The Regulation on the Quality Management of Construction Projects was also revised. In the first item of Article 11, it asks that a specific approach to examine project design be formulated by State organs.
In addition, the order of some articles and items were changed.
