The State Council has released a guideline to deepen “Internet Plus advanced manufacturing”, in a bid to enhance China’s industrial internet sectors.
The country’s infrastructure and industrial system will have international competitiveness, and an industrial internet that covers all sectors and fields will be established by 2025. By 2035, China’s industrial internet will lead the world in key sectors, according to the guideline.
To achieve the targets, the country will further upgrade its network, increase internet speed while reducing fees, expand internet coverage and develop the IPv6-based internet, the guideline said.
It also said that China will accelerate the construction of an industrial internet platform, build a standard system for it, and apply the platform into full use.
A data protection system will be set up to guarantee internet security, and related technology will be enhanced.
To ensure the implementation of the measures, the State Council urged related departments to improve related laws and regulations, create a healthy market environment by simplifying administration and power delegation, increase financial support and cultivate more talents in this field.
