The State Council released a circular on July 19 on adjusting the organization of the anti-monopoly commission, along with the new roll call in place.
According to the circular, State Councilor Wang Yong will sit at the wheel of the new arrangement as its head, flanked by two deputy heads. They are Zhang Mao, head of the State Administration for Market Regulation; and Meng Yang, deputy secretary-general of the State Council.
The listing also covers members from many other ministries, bureaus and commissions, the circular said.
In addition, the steering office of the freshly revamped commission will be placed at the State Administration for Market Regulation to undertake the commission’s routine work.
