The State Council on June 5 agreed to continue the pilot reform on investment approval of public service construction projects at Beijing’s subcenter, Tongzhou district, effective for three years.
With the focus on the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and Beijing’s strategic position as capital city, efforts should be intensified to deepen administrative reforms and speed up the transformation of government functions to build a world-class business environment and to promote the capital’s high-quality development, the document said.
Major problems and situations found in the reform should be reported to the State Council in a timely manner.
Related departments under the State Council should actively take their responsibilities to instruct and guide the pilot reform.
Delivery of measures in the reform should be ensured, and proved experience and expertise should be concluded and promoted at the appropriate time.
