BEIJING — Seventy-five COVID-19 patients were newly discharged from hospitals after recovery on the Chinese mainland on Jan 24, the National Health Commission said in a daily report on Jan 25. 

There were 1,850 confirmed cases still being treated, including 109 in severe conditions, the report showed.

As of Jan 24, the Chinese mainland had reported a total of 89,115 confirmed COVID-19 cases, among whom 82,630 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery and 4,635 died of the disease.
