BEIJING — Vice-Premier Wang Yang met with Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Harold McGraw III in Beijing on July 29.

Wang spoke positively of the role played by ICC in promoting global trade and investment and in global economic governance.

He said China is speeding up the construction of a new and open economic system. He hopes the ICC will play a more active role in China’s reform and opening up and increase exchanges with China’s business circles to create more opportunities for foreign cooperation with Chinese companies.
