Premier Li Keqiang had a video talk with a rural retail business owner based in Fengyang, Anhui province, during his visit to Suning Holdings Group in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, on Nov 30.

The business owner, a franchisee of Suning retail cloud, said the smart retailing mode combining online displays and offline sales is expected to increase his profits from 50,000 or 60,000 yuan to 300,000 yuan a year.

And according to Suning, over 4,000 retail cloud franchise stores were opened nationwide over two years, providing more than 20,000 jobs.

Premier Li was pleased to say that the innovative retailing mode has not only boosted entrepreneurship, but also increased people’s wealth. He also wished the owner more sales in the coming years.
