Premier Li Keqiang visited a distribution center for delivery company ZTO Express in Yuncheng city, North China’s Shanxi province, on Feb 7.
The person in charge of the enterprise told the Premier that demand for express deliveries has surged leading up to the Spring Festival holiday, with package volumes increasing 30 percent. In responding to the government’s call, the company will ensure on-time deliveries of people’s necessities.
The Premier stressed the courier sector’s crucial role in economic activities, adding that deliveries could be “heartwarming”.
Yuncheng means “lucky city,” but good luck does not come naturally, the Premier said, calling on the company to work hard, and wishing the company good luck and delivery of good luck to all households.
